A fast and easy recipe for a delicious weeknight dinner using common ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of cooked rice
  • 1 lb protein (chicken, beef, tofu, or beans)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (fresh or frozen)
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  1. Prep all ingredients: chop, measure, and set near your work area.
  2. Heat the frying pan over medium-high heat.
  3. Add olive oil and protein, searing until cooked through.
  4. Mix in the vegetables and any seasonings, cooking until heated and tender.
  5. Taste and adjust salt as needed.
  6. Serve hot on plates, optionally garnished with herbs or a squeeze of lemon.

Notes
