Roasted Cabbage Steaks

A simple and delicious recipe for roasted cabbage steaks that serve as a warm side dish or light main course.

Ingredients

  • 1 head of cabbage
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Optional: garlic powder, paprika, or other seasonings

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Remove the outer leaves of the cabbage and slice the cabbage into 1-inch thick steaks.
  3. Place the cabbage steaks on a baking sheet and brush both sides with olive oil.
  4. Season with salt, pepper, and any additional spices you’d like.
  5. Roast in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the edges are crispy and the cabbage is tender.
  6. Serve warm as a side dish or appetizer.

Notes

Add a squeeze of lemon or a drizzle of balsamic for brightness. Top with grated cheese or chopped herbs.
