Salted Caramel Rice Krispies Treats

Delightfully rich Rice Krispies treats enhanced with salted caramel, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 package (10 oz) marshmallows
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup salted caramel sauce
  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan over low heat, melt the butter.
  2. Add the marshmallows and salt, stirring until completely melted and smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the salted caramel sauce and vanilla extract.
  4. Add the Rice Krispies cereal to the marshmallow mixture and stir until well coated.
  5. Press the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch pan.
  6. Allow to cool and set before cutting into squares.
  7. Drizzle with extra salted caramel sauce if desired.

Notes

Store any leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. For longer storage, wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate.
