Soft Batch Cookies

Delicious Soft Batch Cookies with a unique texture thanks to cream cheese, perfect for gatherings or satisfying a sweet tooth.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chocolate chunks
  • 1/2 cup M&M’s (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and cream cheese until smooth.
  3. Add the sugars and mix until well combined.
  4. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  7. Fold in the chocolate chips, chunks, and M&M’s if using.
  8. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  10. Allow to cool on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. For longer storage, freeze in a freezer bag.
