Spaghetti Garlic Bread Bowls

A fun and comforting dish combining spaghetti and garlic bread into a delightful bread bowl, topped with cheese.

  • 1 loaf of garlic bread
  • 8 oz spaghetti
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup chopped vegetables (e.g., bell peppers, mushrooms)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven according to the garlic bread instructions.
  2. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the cooked spaghetti, marinara sauce, chopped vegetables, salt, and pepper.
  4. Slice the garlic bread loaf in half and scoop out some of the insides to create a bowl.
  5. Fill each garlic bread bowl with the spaghetti mixture and top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  6. Place the filled bowls on a baking sheet and bake in the oven until the cheese is bubbly and the bread is golden, about 10-15 minutes.
  7. Remove from oven and garnish with fresh basil before serving.

Notes

For a crispier crust, toast the garlic bread a few minutes before filling.
