Steak & Blue Cheese Rigatoni Bake

A comforting rigatoni bake with tender steak, creamy blue cheese, and topped with gooey mozzarella.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz rigatoni pasta
  • 1 lb steak, cut into cubes
  • 1 cup blue cheese, crumbled
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the rigatoni pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak cubes, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned, about 4-5 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  4. Add minced garlic to the same skillet and cook until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in blue cheese until melted and smooth.
  5. Combine cooked rigatoni, steak, and blue cheese sauce in a large baking dish. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Adjust the blue cheese amount to your taste, and consider using rotisserie chicken as a quick protein substitute.
