Sticky Beef Noodles

A quick, tasty dish featuring tender beef and glossy noodles, coated in a rich, sticky sauce made from soy, oyster, and hoisin.

  • 1 lb beef (sliced thinly, such as flank steak or sirloin)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon ginger (grated)
  • 1 bell pepper (sliced)
  • 2 green onions (sliced)
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, and sugar.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add sliced beef and cook until browned.
  4. Add garlic and ginger, stir-frying for another minute.
  5. Add bell pepper and the sauce mixture, stirring to combine.
  6. Toss in the cooked noodles and green onions, mixing until everything is well coated.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy your sticky beef noodles!

Notes

Slice the beef thin against the grain for tender bites. Use high heat for a quick sear and better flavor.
