Sweet Red Velvet Brownie Bites

These small, sweet, and festive red velvet brownie bites are easy to make, soft, and perfect for sharing at parties or enjoying with a hot drink.

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon red food coloring
  • Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a mini muffin pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together vegetable oil, eggs, vanilla extract, and red food coloring.
  4. Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients until well blended.
  5. Fill each muffin cup with the brownie batter about 2/3 full.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Allow to cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  8. Dust with powdered sugar before serving, if desired.

Notes

These brownie bites freeze well. Let them cool completely before storing in an airtight container.
