Viral Chocolate Banana Bark

A quick and easy frozen treat made with bananas, peanut butter, and dark chocolate, perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth without the oven.

Ingredients

  • 2 medium semi-ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup + 2 tablespoons drippy, creamy peanut butter
  • 1.5 cups dark chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil (optional)
  • Flaky sea salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Line a medium-sized baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Peel and slice the bananas into 1/3-inch thick slices.
  3. Arrange the banana slices in a rectangular shape on the lined baking sheet, making sure they touch.
  4. Spread the peanut butter evenly over the bananas.
  5. Place the bark into the freezer for 20 minutes to set.
  6. Heat the chocolate in a microwave-safe dish until mostly melted, then stir until fully melted.
  7. Remove the bark from the freezer and pour the melted chocolate over it.
  8. Sprinkle with sea salt if desired and freeze for at least 90 minutes to fully set.
  9. Once set, remove from the freezer, flip it over, and peel off the parchment paper. Break into pieces.
  10. Serve straight from the freezer and enjoy!

Notes

Keep the bark in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 weeks for best texture. Can be served with coffee or milk.
