Winter Wonderland Chocolate Chip Cookies

Delicious chocolate chip cookies with a hint of peppermint, perfect for festive occasions.

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Add in the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing well.
  4. In another bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients and stir until combined.
  6. Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, and crushed peppermint candies.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto a greased baking sheet, leaving space between cookies.
  8. Bake for about 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden.
  9. Allow the cookies to cool before enjoying.

Notes

For a stronger mint flavor, add a few drops of peppermint extract. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
