Ingredients
Scale
1 pound beef (such as sirloin or flank steak), thinly sliced
2 cups mixed vegetables (such as bell peppers, broccoli, and carrots)
3 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons oyster sauce
1 tablespoon cornstarch
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 clove garlic, minced
1 teaspoon ginger, minced
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
In a bowl, mix the sliced beef with cornstarch and a pinch of salt and pepper.
Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add the beef and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until just browned. Remove the beef and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the remaining oil, garlic, and ginger, and stir-fry for 30 seconds.
Add the mixed vegetables and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until they are tender-crisp.
Return the beef to the skillet. Add the soy sauce and oyster sauce, and toss everything together for an additional minute.
Serve hot over rice or noodles.
Notes
For extra flavor, sprinkle sesame seeds or sliced green onions on top before serving.
