Cilantro Lime Steak and Rice Bowls

A bright and fresh bowl featuring marinated flank steak, warm rice, and creamy avocado, perfect for quick weeknight dinners.

  • 1 lb flank steak
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Marinate the flank steak in lime juice, garlic, salt, and pepper for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Cook the marinated steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until desired doneness.
  4. Let the steak rest for a few minutes before slicing it thinly.
  5. In bowls, layer rice, sliced steak, and avocado.
  6. Top with chopped cilantro and additional lime juice if desired. Serve immediately.
