Creamy Cajun Chicken Penne Pasta

A rich and creamy pasta dish with Cajun flavors that’s perfect for a weeknight dinner.

  • 8 oz penne pasta
  • 1 lb chicken breast, sliced
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Once hot, sauté the sliced chicken seasoned with Cajun spices until browned and cooked through.
  3. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté briefly before pouring in heavy cream. Stir until combined.
  4. Gradually mix in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  5. Toss in the cooked penne pasta and season with salt and pepper. Serve garnished with chopped parsley.

Notes

Make sure to season the chicken generously with Cajun spice for the best flavor. For more heat, add extra Cajun seasoning or red pepper flakes.
