Crispy Cheesy Mashed Potato Bites

Quick and easy fried bites made of mashed potatoes and cheese, perfect for snacks or parties.

  • 2 cups mashed potatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the mashed potatoes, cheese, green onions, egg, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Shape the mixture into small balls or bites.
  3. Roll each bite in bread crumbs to coat.
  4. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  5. Fry the bites until golden brown on all sides, about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Drain on paper towels and serve warm.

Notes
