Crispy Parmesan Chicken with Rich Garlic Sauce

Delicious crispy chicken smothered in a rich and creamy garlic sauce, perfect for a cozy dinner.

Ingredients

  • 4 small to medium chicken breasts (or 2 large halved)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 34 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup light cream or heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning or oregano
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 cup spinach, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Season chicken with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add chicken and cook for 5-6 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
  4. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  5. Lower heat and add minced garlic to the pan. Sauté for 30 seconds.
  6. Pour in cream, stirring continuously.
  7. Add Italian seasoning and parmesan cheese, mixing until smooth.
  8. Stir in chopped spinach (if using) and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  9. Return the cooked chicken to the pan, spooning sauce over the top.
  10. Simmer for 1 minute, then remove from heat.
  11. Serve hot with pasta, roasted vegetables, or mashed potatoes.

Notes

For extra crunch, coat the chicken in breadcrumbs before frying. Adjust seasoning as needed when tasting the sauce.
