Delicious Baked Cod with Lemon Dill Sauce

A quick and healthy baked cod recipe featuring a bright lemon dill sauce that enhances the fish’s flavor.

  • 4 fillets Cod
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • 1 each Lemon (zest and juice)
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh dill
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon Honey

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, lemon zest, lemon juice, dill, Dijon mustard, garlic, and honey. Mix well.
  3. Place the cod fillets in a baking dish. Drizzle the sauce over the top and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Bake in the oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
  5. Once cooked, remove from the oven and drizzle with any extra sauce from the dish.

Notes

Serve hot with a side salad or steamed vegetables. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
