Honey Pepper Chicken Pasta

A quick and easy pasta dish featuring tender chicken in a sweet and spicy honey-pepper sauce, perfect for weeknight dinners.

  • 12 oz penne pasta
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta until al dente, drain, and set aside.
  2. Season chicken with salt and pepper.
  3. Sauté chicken in olive oil and butter until cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, sauté minced garlic for 30 seconds.
  5. Add chicken broth, heavy cream, honey, soy sauce, and crushed red pepper flakes. Simmer until thickened.
  6. Return chicken to the pan and stir to coat.
  7. Add grated Parmesan cheese and mix until creamy.
  8. Add pasta to the pan and toss everything together.
  9. Garnish with chopped parsley and extra cheese. Serve hot!

Notes

Serve hot with warm plates and extra Parmesan. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
