Melt In Your Mouth Chicken Breast

A simple and delicious chicken dish that melts in your mouth, perfect for busy weeknights or special occasions.

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Rub the chicken breasts with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. In an oven-safe skillet, melt the butter over medium-high heat.
  4. Sear the chicken breasts for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes until chicken is cooked through.
  6. Let rest for a few minutes before slicing, and garnish with parsley if desired.

Notes

Make sure your skillet is hot enough before searing the chicken to achieve a golden crust. Use a meat thermometer to ensure chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
