One-Pan Juicy Chicken with Balsamic Sauce

A quick and flavorful one-pan dish featuring seared chicken breasts, balsamic sauce, cherry tomatoes, and melted mozzarella cheese, perfect for weeknight dinners.

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet. Sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. Pour balsamic vinegar over the chicken.
  5. Add cherry tomatoes on top of the chicken.
  6. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the chicken and tomatoes.
  7. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
  8. Remove from oven, garnish with fresh basil leaves, and serve hot.

Notes

Serve with rice, pasta, or a salad for a complete meal. This dish also works well with leftovers in sandwiches or salads.
