Philly Cheesesteak Bowls

Hearty and flavorful Philly Cheesesteak Bowls made with thinly sliced sirloin, peppers, onions, and creamy provolone cheese, all served over cauliflower rice or lettuce for a low-carb option.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb sirloin steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
  • Cauliflower rice or lettuce for serving
  • Optional toppings: jalapeños, hot sauce, parsley

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add sliced onion and bell pepper, sauté until softened.
  3. Stir in garlic and mushrooms, cooking until mushrooms are soft.
  4. Push the vegetables to the side of the skillet and add the sliced steak, cooking until browned. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Once steak is cooked, mix with the vegetables.
  6. Top with provolone cheese, and cover until melted.
  7. Serve over cauliflower rice or lettuce and customize with your favorite toppings.

Notes

For added flair, consider using toppings like pickled jalapeños or a drizzle of hot sauce.
