Steak Fried Rice

A delicious fried rice dish made with marinated steak and colorful vegetables, combining savory flavors with a quick and easy preparation.

  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 lb marinated steak (beef), cut into strips
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (such as peas, carrots, and bell peppers)
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 egg, beaten (optional)
  • Green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat sesame oil in a wok or skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the marinated steak and stir-fry until cooked through.
  3. Add garlic and mixed vegetables; stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until vegetables are tender.
  4. Push the mixture to the side, add the beaten egg (if using) and scramble.
  5. Add the cooked rice and soy sauce; mix everything together.
  6. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot.

Notes

Use day-old rice for best results to prevent mushiness. Adjust soy sauce to taste. This dish can be made vegetarian by using tofu instead of steak.
