Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups jasmine rice
  • 1 lb chicken thighs, diced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the jasmine rice according to package instructions.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the diced chicken thighs and season with salt and pepper, cooking until browned and cooked through.
  4. Stir in the minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, and rice vinegar. Pour the sauce over the chicken, stirring to coat.
  6. Let the sauce simmer for a few minutes until slightly thickened.
  7. Serve the sticky chicken over the cooked jasmine rice.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

Pat the chicken dry before cooking to get a better sear. Adjust soy sauce or honey in the sauce to suit your preference.
