Sticky Garlic Chicken Noodles

A warm and simple dish with tender chicken, a sweet sticky sauce, and soft noodles that cooks quickly and is full of garlic flavor.

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 8 oz noodles (egg noodles or rice noodles)
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles according to package instructions and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, minced garlic, and brown sugar to create the sticky sauce.
  3. In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat.
  4. Add chicken breasts, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned and cooked through.
  5. Pour the sticky sauce over the cooked chicken, stirring to coat.
  6. Add the cooked noodles to the skillet, tossing to combine them with the chicken and sauce.
  7. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with sliced green onions.

Notes

Cool the dish to room temperature before storing in an airtight container. Keep in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 1 month.
